Eastern Academy of Science & Technology (EAST) is not just a Technical intuition of Yore but it is a unique pantheon of intellect, wisdom and human values. Situated on the placid and tranquil bank of river Prachi, flaunting the picturesque back drop, the institution has been relentlessly striving since its inception in 2001 to carve out a niche for itself in the academic arena of the state of Odisha. The EAST emerged as a beacon when the state of Odisha was groping in the dark to compete with its peers in the domain of technical education, as avenues in those times were few and far between for the poor meritorious students of the state.

The entire credit for the emergence of this glorious institution goes to its founder and Chairman the eminent academician, philanthropist, illustrious son of Odisha and NRI Dr. Radhakanta Mishra, President and noted Physician Dr. Gita Mishra and other respected members of Nilakantha Educational & Charitable Trust (NECT). EAST always makes efforts to mould a student in to a complete and ideal human being by imbibing the traditional culture and academic qualification.
